Greig Cardwell - Bass
Greig's interest in music began at a very early age, remembering firstly the Brit-Pop battles in the mid 90's, followed eventually by the discovery of metal in the very early 2000's. Having initially aimed to become an aspiring drummer, Greig soon changed to bass guitar after realising there was a shortage of bass players in his year group at school. A few bands followed in Driffield, before Greig relocated to Hull and eventually joined Collision Point in the summer of 2021.

Drawing on numerous influences across both rock and metal, including - amongst others - Steve Harris, Duff McKagan, Lemmy, Cliff Burton and David Ellefson; Greig brings a gritty but driving bass tone to Collision Point; a simplistic yet effective style of play that compliments the other aspects of the band superbly.
Outside of music, Greig has a strong interest in both ice hockey and motorsport, and can also be found either pounding the streets running, or on the yoga mat completing DDPY Workouts.

Greig uses:
Squire bass guitars, Ampeg bass heads, Eden bass cabinets, Vox effects, Rotosound strings
